#ad Crunchy lentil tacos 🌮 #Ad A 20-minute dinner packed with all my favorite taco fillings! I used @Old El Paso Carb Advantage Taco Shells, which add the perfect crunch to this meal. They have 6g net carbs and 100 calories per two shells. Find them at your nearest store and grab the full recipe to these vegetarian tacos below- Spicy lentils: 1 can brown lentils, drained (15 oz) 1 jalapeno, finely diced 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tbsp tomato paste 1/3 cup water 1/2 tsp of each: paprika, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, pepper 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper Toppings: Old El Paso Carb Advantage Taco Shells Shredded lettuce Avocado Diced tomato Greek yogurt or sour cream Cabbage slaw- 2 cups shredded cabbage mixed with 2 tbsp mayo, juice from 1/2 lemon, salt & pepper Hot sauce Shredded cheddar cheese 1. Heat a skillet with 2 tbsp of olive oil and sauté the diced jalapeño for 5 minutes on medium heat. Add in the drained brown lentils with the spices, tomato paste and water and cook on medium/low for 10-12 minutes, stirring every couple of minutes. 2. Toast the tacos in the oven on 325 F for 5 minutes to crisp. Assemble with all of your taco fillings #oldelpaso #taconight
