The best way to stay cool this summer is at the Phoenician 🍹 Phoenician Resort is a beautiful 5-star resort located in Scottsdale, Arizona. They are kicking off summer with great deals all season long for their Legendary Summer celebration. Before the Phoenician, Jokake Inn welcomed visitors to Phoenix in 1926, where they sold tea and cakes. You pass Jokake Inn on the property as you make your way up to the resort. So stop to take some iconic pictures before check-in! I stayed in a King Suite, which had a tub and a cozy patio. They have some special rates they are offering this summer such as their spa, golfing, and summer menus. The perfect way to celebrate Independence Day is by hanging out at one of their many pools. They offer a splash pad for the kids, a water slide, and an adults-only pool. You can rent cabanas and they offer poolside eats and drinks. If the pool isn't your vibe, they have yoga, a spa, pickleball, golf, and more. For restaurants, you have a ton of choices to choose from. Mowry and Cotton do lunch, brunch, and dinner. Their brunch was my fav! Get the tacos and their French toast! If you like more of a sports bar vibe, the Tavern at the 19th hole is your jam. They do boozy milkshakes, burgers, and smores! Don't forget about dueling pianos either. The best date night spot is at J&G Steakhouse. Perfect spot to catch the sunset and they offer great cuts of steak. The Grand Canyon Cavern & Restaurant is back open, share the news‼️ Grand Canyon Cavern is located in Peach Springs, Arizona. The cavern closed down for almost 3 years due to an elevator malfunction. Havasupai tribe has taken over ownership and put in a new 2 million dollar updated elevator. They offer 2 tours, 25 and 45 minute tours of the caverns with an option to eat in the Crystal restaurant for an add-on. Reservations are required in advance, and you can call to make them. They also have a restaurant upstairs, with a gift shop and an inn. Haunted Mansion themed Hotel room is actually haunted 👻 The Clinkscale is a restaurant downstairs and a hotel upstairs located in Jerome, Arizona. What once was a mercantile in the 1800's, became a Bordello as more miners came to town. The hotel has several rooms that give an upscale western theme. We stayed in the Haunted Mansion themed Hotel room, spooks, Ghosts, and goblins. We stayed here back in 2021, in which my friend woke up in the middle of the night to a cowboy like figure sitting at the end of our bed. The inside of the place is nice and cold and just gives a different vibe. We decided to try their Flagstaff ghost tour, which covered Hotel Monte Vista, The Weatherford, and the Orpheum. The tour is 75-90 minutes long, and you walk along the sites to hear the stories. Some highlights we heard were the story of the 2 working girls who were thrown from the window of Hotel Monte Vista and said to haunt the place. Weatherford Hotel has had multiple paintings of glasses being thrown in the bar when no one is there.
