After Running a marathon 42.2km barefoot & blindfold, this is the moment I removed the blindfold. It is very hard to put I to words what was I feeling, but I will try. The First 25km was ok, but after it got really hard to know where I am, I felt I was running in space, reality ceased to exist, and lost sense of direction. Felt very uncomfortable for the last 15km, but me and the boys @jesseboomen & @georgekyriacou__ kept going. Until we reached the finish line, It was time to remove the blindfold, then the 2 sponges that were on my eyes so the light was completely blocked. The moment I removed them from my eyes, I saw the light, the real light. As if it is the first time I see life, as if I m born again. And this moment is beyond any other feeling I left, I have been there many times, this oneness, the unconditional love I have for life, the gratitude to be alive. Push yourself my friends, life happens on the edge I swear, I ran 42.2km blindfold & barefoot to have 5 min of ultimate blissfulness. Follow your heart no matter how dark it is, there is light at the end.

New Guinness world record. First man to run a marathon barefoot & blindfold. I had cancer 8 years ago, it felt dark. But I kept pushing, believing that it will end. Here I am I m healthier, stronger, and better than ever. This record is a reminder for whoever is dealing with cancer, sickness, death or a challenging journey. Remember: “No matter how dark it feels, there is light at the end”. The moment I saw the light after running for almost 4hours it was a moment of bliss. I love my friends ,that are family, that created a safe space so I can run blindfolded @georgekyriacou__ & @jesseboomen . The 3 ran as one.
