Another day in the office! ✨👩🏻‍🍳 Since it was game night, I crafted a nutrient-dense yet light dinner to fuel the evening. Appetizer: A creamy, anti-inflammatory asparagus and chard lemon soup, topped with coconut cream, a drizzle of olive oil, fresh sprouts, and dill. Main Course: Blackened grouper served with a creamy avocado-cilantro-lime sauce, paired with roasted garlic and sweet potato mash, and a side of charred broccoli. For a sweet finish, I made banana oatmeal chocolate chunk cookies. Cozy chicken egg drop soup with soba noodles One of my favorite cozy, quick and easy recipes to whip up when I don’t feel like doing too much in the kitchen. 😊 Ingredients: • 1 lb ground chicken • 5 cups chicken bone broth • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced • 3 cloves garlic, minced • 2 green onions, sliced (plus more for garnish) • 1 1/2 cups shiitake mushrooms, thinly sliced • 1 small head of bok choy, chopped • 3 tablespoons tamari or soy sauce • 2 eggs, lightly beaten • 1 1/2 tablespoons arrowroot powder mixed with 3 tablespoons water (slurry) • 6 oz soba noodles, cooked according to package instructions & cooked separately • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste • Optional: a drizzle of sesame oil for garnish #privatechef #cheflife #soup #cookwithme #healthyfood #recipes

Here’s everything I made my client for dinner on this evening. ✨ Appetizer: A creamy asparagus and bone broth soup. My client wasn’t feeling well for a few days so I focused on preparing lots of soups for the appetizer part of the dinners each night. Main dish: Grass-red ribeye that I pan seared and basted with butter, garlic & thyme over a creamy Yukon gold potato mash.
