When survivors speak out, they're met with disbelief, victim-blaming, and ridicule. They're accused of lying for attention or money, as though anyone would willingly subject themselves to the public scrutiny, trauma, and endless attacks that come with speaking out. Meanwhile, the abuser is shielded by fame, power, and a culture that refuses to hold men accountable for their violence. This is why so many survivors stay silent. This is why change feels so far away. Until we stop defending abusers and start believing survivors, the cycle will continue, and justice will remain out of reach for far too many. For all survivors. For the future. #nikitahand #womensafety #mybodymychoice #saam #feminism
