this has only happened to me a few times thankfully! if you are a female in the military, how many times have you been in this situation? it's a bit awkward and I feel bad if it embarrasses the clerk when I correct them, but also, my ID has my rank on it and everything 😅. I did used to be a military spouse because my husband is also in the military, so sometimes I wouldn't get the "military discount" which is alright (still his money being spent tho low key), but these days... this is big issue in the military, I think most members know someone who is affected by this. KNOW THE SIGNS - abnormal/changes in behavior - giving lots of things away or writing a will - telling others about SI or plans - purchasing a firearm or other lethal means - sudden burst in happiness/energy after being depressed for a while - increased risky behavior (such as reckless driving, drinking, etc) - drinking (especially if they did not before) - expressing to others that things are hopeless, will never get better, and/or they feel like a burden to others and things would be better if they weren't there COMMON RISK FACTORS (for military): - recent job reassignment - recent or ongoing disciplinary action - PCSing/major moves - losing friends recently to su1cide - relationship/marital problems - social problems/not having friends *THESE LISTS ARE NOT COMPREHENSIVE. if you are wondering what a healthy marriage or healthy relationship looks like when man absolutely loves his wife LOOK NO FURTHER because it has been about 8 years of us being together, about 6.5 of them married, and he still does little things like this to be cute and loving. he had to go on a trip to visit our new nephew (born a few days ago) and had to leave before I got home. unfortunately due to work I couldn't go with, which was disappointing for both of us. we have spent so much time apart in the past as a couple, and it always is hard (never really gets easier), but we find ways like this to make any time we spend apart easier. it's these little thoughtful gestures that mean so much. 🥹 #creatorsearchinsights #healthyrelationship #Relationship #married #husband
