Earlier today, two black employees of @1:11 Juice Bar were targeted by Michele Lloyd Hetrick of Apple Store Shadyside Pittsburgh. In the past few months, we have felt outward racism grow quickly in Pittsburgh as white supremacists of all types feel more emboldened. There is a long troubled history in our country of privileged white women using their relationships with the police to extrajudicially attack black men. Michele Hetrick knows this.
