bringing this post back that recieved so much love and support... I have struggled with my mental health ever since becoming a special needs parent 3 years ago. I'm very grateful for my son and he is VERY loved but it doesn't mean we haven't had a rough time adjusting to this whole special needs parent thing. Thankfully within the last year I have gained the strength to find help with medication and therapy. It's not something I saw myself doing at first but it's been worth it so I can be the best version for myself and my kids.
