Context: About 3 years ago this happened and I never posted it. this old lady walked into my blind spot behind my car as I was getting in and when I backed out my car hit her. some tesla info you must know: when you get in and out of a newer model x the car automatically goes into drive and reverse. so moment my door closed and i had seatbelt on my car was already in reverse meaning both there’s a reverse humming sound as well as white reverse lights on while she just stood there. also you might be wondering why I didn’t see her in the mirror, well it’s because when a tesla is in reverse there’s a setting which at the time I had one but it points the mirrors down to ground so you see the ground. now information about situation: the lady is completely fine from what I know and after showing the footage to police, lawyer and insurance company they all agreed that this seemed like attempted insurance fruad. that being said if you NOW have questions please comment i’ll answer. ps:i still love my tesla and will keep getting one as a daily W elon #fyp #tesla

context: this happened like 2-3 years ago I never posted about it till everything was fully figured out. newport police, insurance and lawyer deemed this as a insurance fraud and that where the lady was standing as her fault. She was okay for everyone wondering and I did feel really bad. my 2022 tesla model x WITH super sonic sensors did indeed not beep or anything which is exactly wild to me. anyways enjoy #fyp
