I guarantee you’ll be shopping here because fashion in cities like Tokyo is 🔥👌 and there is SO much variety. Plus, Japanese clothing brands are cheaper here. Reusable shopping bags are a must, as well as a passport wallet as you need to carry your passport on you at all times according to Japanese law. Our little Japan travel tip is to bring your own headache tablets, as active ingredients can be quite different to what you’re used to. This also applies to deodorant and Japanese ones don’t really have the anti-perspirant effect. Resorts in Japan are NOT what we expected. Would you stay at one? 🏨🇯🇵 We stayed at Risonare Atami in Izu, which is only a 1 hour Shinkansen ride from Tokyo. It’s a coastal onsen town that’s known for its fresh seafood, laidback coastal vibe and its huge number of holiday resorts. The Atami fireworks happen a dozen times a year, so if you plan on visiting, see if you can time it with the fireworks.
