I just want to share a little awareness about Diabetes 🫶🏻 Many of you tell me “same tayo, I had gestational diabetes.” I’m so grateful you share your stories with me 🤍 I just want to explain how my condition is a bit different. Gestational Diabetes • Develops only during pregnancy. • Caused by pregnancy hormones affecting insulin use. • Usually goes away after giving birth. Type 2 Diabetes • The body still makes insulin, but doesn’t use it properly (insulin resistance). • Often managed with diet, exercise, or medication. • Can sometimes be improved with lifestyle changes. Type 1 Diabetes •An autoimmune condition. My body no longer makes insulin at all. • I need insulin injections for life, every single day. • It’s permanent. I don’t get a “break” from it, even after pregnancy. • I check my sugar many times a day, count carbs, and adjust insulin which is especially important now that I’m pregnant I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when I was only 16. Since then, I’ve been insulin dependent for life. Insulin is what literally keeps me alive every single day. Now that I’m pregnant, things are even more delicate. * I check my blood sugar by pricking 10+ times daily. (even at midnight). * I use 2 types of insulin and inject 4–7 times daily. * I have to be extra careful with every meal, every snack, every activity. It’s not easy but it’s a privilege I’ll never take for granted, because it means I get to grow this little life inside me. 🥹🤍 This journey isn’t easy, but it’s proof that love can make you braver than you ever imagined. 🤍 Discipline isn’t just about routine, it’s about love. 🤍 To all the women walking their own path, whether with Type 1, Type 2, Gestational Diabetes, or other challenges, Please know this: You are stronger than you think, and the love you carry will always be greater than the struggles you face. 🤍 Here’s to hope, to faith, and to the tiny miracles we’re all waiting for. May 31, 2025, Just us, our families. No one knew. Until today. We chose to keep this moment quiet, no big announcements, no crowd. We didn’t get here overnight. We grew through hard conversations, took every fight, and every “let’s try again.” Not everyone saw the journey. But those who did, know this love was pure and real. Love was never just the easy parts, It was how we stayed when things got hard, and how we kept choosing each other every time. There were moments I thought love wasn’t for me. But God had other plans. Plans that led me here. In a white dress, holding the kind of love I used to only pray for.🤍 The girl I used to be would cry happy tears for me now 🤍

I got Zoie in 2018, not just because I wanted a pet, but because I needed a friend. Someone to come home to, someone who didn’t need words to understand me. She’s only 7 now, still full of life. But every year, I quietly ask her: Stay with me for many more years. Wait until I get married, wait until I have kids, so they can meet the one who helped me through so much. 🤍 She’s been there through my lowest days, and now she’s here in one of my happiest. I just hope she gets to see the rest of my story. 🤍
