Still completely speechless about this. I didn’t even really know what to say. Minding our own business playing ball when some guy walks by and decides to stop and repremand me, then harass me about them being service dogs. I totally agree that in PUBLIC places dogs should ALWAYS be on leash, and I agree that even in your yard if a dog is reactive or would go into the road/chase dogs or people walking by then yet it should be on leash, however this…. My dogs completely ignored this man they would never run into the road and I wouldn’t have them off leash if that was the case. Also want to note that SERVICE DOGS DONT HAVE PROOF PEOPLE. Ughhh WHY, of course I would stumble across this while training at the park 😭 I really wanted to just snag the dog I thought at first he was just abandoned there but then I saw the construction workers. I hope animal control does something. I went back a few hours later but the dog and guy was gone 😭 of course my phone ran out of storage and the video ended. People like this do not deserve to own dogs! black coat, long haired French bull dog, tied to a dumbster for hours in the sun on the pavement…. So sad. Come training with us! 🫶🏼 Today was a bit difficult lots of people where stopping to talk with us, and asking us things, wanting to pet and feed cider treats…. cider was a bit more distracted then normal. I think this is a great opportunity to remember training a service dog has both ups and downs (specially during doggy adolescent faze) service dogs are not perfect, they are not robots, they are dogs and distractions happen, the important thing is we worked through our mistakes and distractions and recoverd well! This is also why it’s important to not talk to, or pet service dogs/ service dogs in training as it can be distracting! ##servicedog##sdit##dog##DogTraining##disability##fyp##foryoupage##dogs

Of course watches, phones, and medical devices can be helpful for some medical conditions and things, but remember if someone has a service dog on top of those it’s because the service dog is more beneficial and helps better and more then the device can!
